🟢 Vegan What does this label mean?
Last verified: July 5, 2026
This is probably the most beautiful bowl of vegan ramen in Tokyo — served inside teamLab Planets, the digital-art museum in Toyosu. The Kyoto original earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand and a Michelin Green Star, and the Tokyo shop serves the same fully plant-based bowls. One big caveat: you need a teamLab Planets admission ticket to eat here — you cannot walk in off the street.
What We Verified
- Fully plant-based — the official website describes the soup as Rausu kombu (kelp) and domestic shiitake stock on an oat-milk base, with no animal ingredients. Confirmed on the official English site (vegan-uzu.com), July 5, 2026.
- Allergens disclosed officially — contains soy, wheat, and sesame; the shop itself states it is not five-pungent-root free and not gluten-free.
- Ticket-holders only — the official site states entry is exclusively for teamLab Planets visitors.
- Hours — 10:30–21:30 (ramen from 11:00, last order 21:00); closed when teamLab Planets is closed.
What We Could Not Confirm
- Whether mirin or other seasoning alcohol is used (not mentioned on the menu pages).
- Official Instagram/social accounts (links exist on the site but we could not verify the accounts directly).
What to Order
The signature miso vegan ramen (¥2,000). Vegan ice cream (¥800–900) and muffins (¥900) make it a full dessert stop too.
